1. Introduction
Welcome to QuickMail Apply (the "App"), developed to streamline and simplify your job application process. QuickMail Apply allows you to create job profiles, attach resume documents, and send applications to recruiters with a single tap.
We respect your privacy and are committed to transparency. This Privacy Policy details how we handle information when you install and use the App. Unlike traditional services, QuickMail Apply is designed with a privacy-first approach: we do not maintain application servers, and we do not store your personal information externally.
com.quickmail.apply.quickmailapplyThis policy applies to all versions of the QuickMail Apply app distributed via the Google Play Store.
2. Data We Collect
QuickMail Apply requires certain details to execute its primary function of draft-building and sending applications. All such details are stored securely on your local device:
- Job Profile Metadata: Names, email subjects, custom template bodies, and preferences.
- Attachments: Resume files (PDFs, DOCX) and document links selected by you via the device file picker.
- Application History: Recruiter email addresses, submission timestamps, and corresponding email thread identifiers.
No developer or third-party servers receive this data. It remains inside the secure sandbox of your device and is only transmitted directly to Google's API servers when you authorize email actions.
3. Google API Integration & Permissions
QuickMail Apply incorporates Google Sign-In and Gmail API services to execute direct email sending and track application statuses. When you sign in with your Google account, the App requests access to specific OAuth scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly
4. Google API User Data & Limited Use Compliance
QuickMail Apply is fully compliant with Google API User Data Policies. Our data transmission and processing practices are governed by strict guidelines:
QuickMail Apply's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, we enforce the following safeguards:
- No Server Transfer: User data retrieved from Google APIs is never uploaded to external servers. It is kept entirely in the App's local storage and used directly to send your email.
- No Human Access: No developers, administrators, or third-party humans can read or access your Google API data.
- No Ad Targeting: We do not use Google API data for advertising. None of the data retrieved via the Gmail API is shared with ad networks, data brokers, or marketing partners.
5. Third-Party Services
To support the development and maintenance of the App, we display advertisements via Google Mobile Ads. These third-party networks may collect and process telemetry data:
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
Serves non-personalized or personalized ads. May process device advertising identifiers (such as Android AD_ID), IP addresses, and generalized location data. You can manage personalization parameters within Google Settings on your device.
Please note that when sending email application links, they are processed directly through Google API endpoints or your system email client, governed by Google's main privacy policies.
6. Security & Storage
We deploy standard device-level encryption. The App stores your OAuth credentials and application data securely in your device's isolated storage sandbox. Since the App has no backend database, your data is inherently safe from remote data breaches of developer servers.
It is your responsibility to secure access to your physical device. We recommend setting a secure screen lock (PIN, Password, or Biometrics) to prevent unauthorized access to your local application history and job profiles.
7. Your Choices & Data Deletion
You have absolute control over your data. Since all information is hosted locally, you can delete it at any time:
- Clear History: Go to the History screen in the App and choose "Clear history" to wipe all tracking records.
- Delete Profiles: Individual job profiles and associated information can be deleted directly from the Profiles tab.
- Full Reset: Uninstalling the App from your device immediately deletes all local databases, cached resumes, and authentication tokens.
- Google Access Revocation: You can revoke the App's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account Security Settings.
